The lotto generator I.T training Back then... Odds n ends Blog spot

Welcome to Pete and Jane's Web site!.

This is the
3 of us. I was born and bred on a farm at Mullewa and after working there for 23 years have stopped farming and have started my new career in IT with a firm called Crox Development (now called Accord Technologies). Where my position is offically called "Systems Support Engineer".

A little info about us.

Family
photo at wedding party in Hong Kong.

Jane and I were married in September 2000, the wedding ceremony was held at Hyde Park, followed by an official party afterwards at the Knutsford Arms in Perth (Western Australia), on the 23rd September. The week before that we had a party in Hong Kong for all our Hong Kong family, the party was held at the Jockey Club in Happy Valley. Some of our Aussie family were able to attend that party as well. We had our first child, Sampson on the 22nd May 2003. He is the joy and inspiration in our lives.

We were farming at Mullewa, a small community about 100km east of Geraldton in W.A. I lived there all my life until February 2006. 1 property (Bradfields) was sold in April 2005, the remaining 3 properties were sold in September 2005 and January 2006.

We feel that we had a chance to improve our lives by selling the farm, and chances like that only come once, so we had to take it. And by living in the city, we can give our son a good education and a better preparation for life than he would get in the country.

And now........

We have a lovely home in Perth and have been living here since February 2006. We are very pleased with the way everything has turned out for us since leaving the farm and we have all settled into this new life very well.

I have completed studying and all exams for my MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineeer) at Hands On Computer Training International. I am employed by Accord Techologies and now I have completed my training I am working fulltime. While I was studying I worked 3 days per week and studied 2 days per week. It was a great arrangement, getting real experience, which was helping my studies as well!

About this web site.

smiley.

Okay, I am a dinosaur. This web site has been put together by using gedit (kind of the Linux equivelant of Notepad) I quite enjoy doing it like this. Yes, I have tried Joomla, Drupal etc.

The Lotto bit has been done with javascript, but not very well because sometimes you get 2 numbers the same, so I will have to modify the code. When I have time I might have another look at it. For other software, look here
